Welcome to Geneva

On behalf of the organizing committee, we are delighted to invite you to join us for the 47th Annual Meeting of the International Association of Forensic Toxicologists TIAFT in Geneva, August 23d through August 27th, 2009
at International Conference Center Geneva (CICG).

TIAFT aims to promote cooperation and coordination of efforts among members and to encourage research in forensic toxicology. Every year, scientists from all over the world attend this conference to learn about new advances and to exchange ideas and experiences.

For this 47th meeting, the program will contain the classical traditional TIAFT topics: postmortem toxicology, alcohol, drugs and driving (DUI), clinical toxicology, drugs of abuse and alternative matrices.

In addition, specialized sessions and workshops, like doping analysis, analysis of natural products and chemometry, will also be included.

Beside the scientific program, we will offer you an interesting social program, which will leave you with good memories of Geneva and its majestic mountains, cruises on one of Europe’s largest lake.
